EWTN will begin coverage with a live 60-minute preview show on Wednesday, June 12, from 10:00 – 11:00 PM (EDT) hosted by EWTN News Director Raymond Arroyo and his guest, Fr. James Gould. On Thursday and Friday, June 13 & 14, there will be a morning session and an afternoon session each day, with an encore of the Daily Mass between segments. A morning bump.
"Among the strangest things that I saw, were long processions of bishops. Their thoughts and utterances were made known to me through images issuing from their mouths. Their faults toward religion were shown by external deformities. A few had only a body, with a dark cloud of fog instead of a head. Others had only a head, their bodies were like thick vapors. Some were lame; others were paralytics; others were asleep or staggering.
"I saw what I believe to be nearly all the bishops of the world, but only a small number were perfectly sound. I also saw the Holy Father-God fearing and prayerful. Nothing left to be desired of his appearance, but he was weakened by old age and by much suffering. His head was lolling from side to side, and it drooped onto his chest as if he were falling asleep. He often fainted and seemed to be dying. But when he was praying, he was often comforted by apparitions from Heaven."-Venerable Anne Catherine Emmerich June 1 1821
Venerable Holzhauser describes the "5th period of the Church" (which I believe we are in now) as follows:
"The fifth period of the Church will end with the arrival of the Holy Pope and of the powerful Monarch who is called "Help from God" because he will restore everything in Christ.
"The fifth period is one of affliction, desolation, humiliation and poverty for the Church. Jesus Christ will purify His people through cruel wars, famines, plague epidemics, and other horrible calamities. He will also afflict and weaken the Latin Church with many heresies. It is a period of defections, calamities and extermination."
"Are we not to fear, during this period, that the Mohammedans will come again, working out their sinister schemes against the Latin Church?"
"During this unhappy period, there will be laxity in divine and human precepts. Discipline will suffer. The Holy Canons will be completely disregarded, and the Clergy will not respect the laws of the Church. Everyone will be carried away and led to believe and to do what he fancies, according to the manner of the flesh."
"These are evil times, a century full of dangers and calamities. Heresy is everywhere, and the followers of heresy are in power almost everywhere. Bishops, prelates and priests say that they are doing their duty, that they are vigilant, and that they live as befits their state in life. In like manner, therefore, they all seek excuses. But God will permit a great evil against His Church; Heretics and tyrants will come suddenly and unexpectedly; they will break into the Church while bishops, prelates and priests are asleep. They will enter Italy and lay Rome waste; they will burn down the churches and destroy everything."

Venerable Holzhauser talks about the 6th period of the Church also, when our holy Church will shine like never before and all men will become Catholic. Hope I live to see that.
