I believe that those who have never heard of Christ are under a different judicial dispensation. They are in a different position from those who have rejected Christ. (Albeit not a particularly good position.....far better to pass from death to life through the marvelous grace of our loving Lord.)

Yeah, I know. BTW, it seems to be a rather common theme among you Arminians that one must actively reject Christ to be thrown into the Lake of Fire. Perhaps you just simply don't think that God is holy enough to have already condemned the entire race a long time ago and out of the pleasure of His will and mercy has elected to save some for His glory and leave the rest to be burned for His glory

You're right, I don't. In fact, I think that a concise and accurate statement of the Calvinist construct and the cruelist, most brutal, foolish, unbiblical and downright stupid thing I can imagine.

My God -- the God of the Bible -- derives no pleasure from the suffering of any. There is no "pleasure of will" in seeing to it that multitudes of His creations are "burned for his glory." We know this because Jesus perfectly reflected the nature of God to us and He offered special protection to those too young to rebel against their God.

But one must go further and ask what trauma brings forth a mind which would posit such a god. If you really believe that the God of the Bible "burns [people] for his glory" you truly have, as the phrase goes, "issues" with which you should deal.

Moreover, unless you are truly a sociopath, I doubt you really believe such nonsense yourself. Imagine yourself on some 'holy' mission to a pediactrics ward to round up new brands to "burn for his glory." I doubt even you could do it.

This is a perfect example of a premise of the construct that only makes 'sense' in the abstract -- the very, very abstract. Get a grip, man. Then get out your Bible and read of the Suffering Servant who died to make Himself "... the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for our sins but also for the whole world." Thank God Almighty.
