I only heard about the bible schedule in the last few years, but more people should know about it. How can people say Catholics don't care about the bible, when they are required, at a minimum, to hear the entire bible every three years?

I've also realized that I took in a lot from hearing those readings as a child. Many of the stories of the bible I know so well because I remember hearing them in Mass as a child. For example, I always loved the stories about Jesus and the Pharisees, and those lessons really stuck with me.

I just found this, Nick. Thanks for posting it. Its bittersweet to see History_Matters' posts again. May he rest in peace.

Given the recent heated debates about Liturgy and the Mass, I think it might be a good time to carefully re-examine this article from Fr. Fessio.

A discussion what the Novus Ordo should be and not what it has become in many places may be a fruitful point of departure for the ongoing debates.
