Prayer Request for Friend's Daughter's Pregnancy

I heard today that a friend's daughter is pregnant, and they have found out the fetus has a chromosomal abnormality. The baby is considered hydropic and multi-cystic, which for laymen means he/she has fluid in the lungs and chest cavity and has numerous external fluid-filled cysts and edema (or swelling) throughout the body. There is a heart abnormality as well.

Apparently most of these babies die in utero between 20-24 weeks. The mother is 19 1/2 weeks (about 5 months). Some babies can go full term, but will die at birth or shortly thereafter.

Needless to say, the family needs prayers of support as they go through this difficult time. Also, please ask God to take the baby soon so that it does not suffer and that the mother's health will not be adversely affected.

They have sent off for more testing, but the results won't be back for about 2 weeks.
