WOW, they do sound impressive. I wish I found a place like that to buy a horse from. The price on the one I sent you wasn't bad if he was as good as they said.
BTW, speaking of impressive, do you know not to buy anything that has IMPRESSIVE (name of a QH stud) in thier bloodlines if you buy a papered horse? Impressive was the first horse ever that started a sydrome called HYPP and it is a dominate gene so he passed it on. This syndrome affects a horses muscles, causes them to lockup where they can't move, it can kill them, or just be a bad problem. They have developed a test for it to see if a horse has it, and Impressive horses are usually advertised for sale with test results shown, but your best bet is if you get a papered horse check to see if Impressive is anywhere in there and avoid it.
Don't let this scare you, it's not that big of a deal, but you need to be aware if anyone starts talking about HYPP and the horse is negative/negative, which are test results, I would still stay away from it. Horses can be negative/negative, negative/positive, positive/negative, or positive/positive. Impressive horses are most generally, big muscular horses, because the syndrome keeps their muscles flexed all the time. Before we knew much about it we bought our son a roping horse that tested neg/pos. We were told with those test results the likelihood of him having problems was very very very slim. But of course he did, so I have always wondered how accurate their testing is.
