There is no "second Eve" only a "Last Adam" which is Jesus. Second eve is unscriptural Please remember I do not accept this use of "unscriptural." to me it means that the Scri[ture expressly denies a proposition. In any case, Irenaeus, who coined the phrase, was a lot closer in time than you or I to the apostles. It is, of course, a figure of speech, just as wehat Paul said is figurative. Eve is the mother of all the living. Mary is the mother of all the faithful.

Mary is the mother of all the faithful. Eve's title is scriptural, Mary's is anti-scriptural due to:
Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Unless you think the church has 2 mothers, one scriptural and one Catholic.
