Mary is the mother of all the faithful.

Eve's title is scriptural, Mary's is anti-scriptural due to:

Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Unless you think the church has 2 mothers, one scriptural and one Catholic.

Hmmm. Adam "fathered" a family in sin (us) and Abraham was the father of many nations (including us) and Christ fathered a family in righteousness (us) without removing "Father" from God the Father's title.

But the church only has one mother.
