Second eve is unscriptural Please remember I do not accept this use of "unscriptural." to me it means that the Scri[ture expressly denies a proposition. In any case, Irenaeus, who coined the phrase, was a lot closer in time than you or I to the apostles. It is, of course, a figure of speech, just as wehat Paul said is figurative. Eve is the mother of all the living. Mary is the mother of all the faithful.
