Every Sunday morning while I wait for my wife to get ready, (dig, dig, dig,) I tune the TV to listen to Frederick K. Price, a black minister out of Ca.
This morning he taught on the subject of Easter and for the first time went into its Pagan origin.
Then he went into the Good Friday myth, explaining how the early Church didnt understand that the Sabbath day that followed the crucifixion, wasnt the weekly Sabbath day, but the Sabbath of the Passover, the First Day of Unleavened Bread.
It came on Thursday, as the Wednesday Crucifixion ended at evening.
Because they, nor anyone else, had the guts or the truthfulness to correct their mistake, they have foisted their lie on the whole world since then. They have claimed Jesus didnt know what he was talking about, and He meant Hed be in the earth only 36 hours, a day and a half.
When Jesus told the Scribes and the Pharisees, Hed be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights, a 72 hour period, the Church leaders told their followers that it began Friday evening, and ended Sunday morning.
The Good Friday thing, and the resurrection being on Sunday morning is an absolute lie, and Im glad to see that more ministers are being honest with their members, and beginning to distance themselves from those who have lied to their people for years.
The Catholic Church may have been the original perpetrators, but the Protestants had the chance to straighten it out, but they decided to continue the lie.
Wake up America! . Pitts off ..

So you are saying He died Wed evening? That would make the ressurection Sat evening? It sounds like daytime hours in the Bible. That would cover three nights (wed, thur, fri) but not three days. (thur, fri, ?) If you counted sat then wouldn't the ressurection have to be the evening of sat because if you wait til Sun. you have 4 nights, right?
