Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams |
You may be surprised to know I've already read it.
Follow the Word Of G-d not the Word of Man.
Ban Celibacy.
1Co. 2:4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and
persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power,
1Co. 2:5 so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.

#1, you said you alreayd "understand" all this stuff, remember?
#2, It has already been made clear that the state of the priest's soul has nothing to do with the validity of the sacraments. Inasmuch as Chrits works through the priest at these times, He is present.
#3, I concede your moral superiority over any such species of abortion-doctoring priest who might exist.
Now, answer the question. Do you ever commit the same sin more than once, even though you have "repented" of it in the past?

Again, for the 4th or 5th time, do you have no sin that you repeat more than once, even though you have repented?

On second thought Robby, I completely disagree with this.
Satan has seen God's perfect ways, and has determined that he has another and a better way, that avoids having to follow any of God's laws.
His message is to go ahead and sin and the human nature and Satans influence of this world will show you another way out of suffering the penalty.
Go ahead and get Herpes, we'll develop a vaccine.
Go ahead and get aids, well find a medical cure for you and make everyone else pay for it.
Go ahead and commit adultery, we'll find a great lawyer and not only get you out of a bad marriage, but fix it so you don't even have to pay for your children.
Satan's alternative to God's laws go on and on, and he takes the opposite approach every time.

Because the Catholic church accepts it as valid does not mean that I do! ;o)
I never said baptisms and communions weren't valid. Those are between the recipient and God. I said get the perverts out as soon as possible. Simple as that.
Then you and Dave are in agreement. Wasn't that easy? ;o)
When you examine yourself over the years, are there some things you just keep doing no matter how much you try to stop?

Thanx.
Loaded question, and not relevent.
A perfectly valid question, considering that ipeV has made the claim that those who sin lack faith.
Do you still beat your wife?
This was intended to be a loaded question, in response to ipeV's loaded question:
" So you are now making excuses for ongoing practice of pedophilia?" (#50,847).
Then those who are not a part of it should abstain from quoting those passages as support for their positions. If they are not relevent to the non-Catholic, then they can't be used to beat a Catholic over the head. Simple consistency.
