Make sure you read the Apocrypha. You would fund that Ecclesiasticus is Ecclesiastes without the pessimism. Bear in mind that this is a translation from the original Hebrew by the grandson of the author.

You may be surprised to know I've already read it.

Step 1 - Remove priest from priesthood
Step 2 - Remove "manhood" from priest

Follow the Word Of G-d not the Word of Man.

Ban Celibacy.

1Co. 2:4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and
persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power,
1Co. 2:5 so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.

As soon as you answer whether Christ is present in a priest who moonlights as an abortionist.

#1, you said you alreayd "understand" all this stuff, remember?

#2, It has already been made clear that the state of the priest's soul has nothing to do with the validity of the sacraments. Inasmuch as Chrits works through the priest at these times, He is present.

#3, I concede your moral superiority over any such species of abortion-doctoring priest who might exist.

Now, answer the question. Do you ever commit the same sin more than once, even though you have "repented" of it in the past?

God gave mankind the ability and desire to know right from wrong, but we often err, and our errors have terrible consequences. It seems that we peversely choose to do what we know is not good, because our supreme good is to get our own way.

Chuck, what does celibacy have to do with child abuse? Are there no married men who sexually abuse children?

Their heinous pedophiliac actions over years and years is proof that they were "conscious acts", to say they weren't is simply denying reality.

Again, for the 4th or 5th time, do you have no sin that you repeat more than once, even though you have repented?

Even the devil intends to do good.

On second thought Robby, I completely disagree with this.

Satan has seen God's perfect ways, and has determined that he has another and a better way, that avoids having to follow any of God's laws.

His message is to go ahead and sin and the human nature and Satan’s influence of this world will show you another way out of suffering the penalty.

Go ahead and get Herpes, we'll develop a vaccine.
Go ahead and get aids, well find a medical cure for you and make everyone else pay for it.
Go ahead and commit adultery, we'll find a great lawyer and not only get you out of a bad marriage, but fix it so you don't even have to pay for your children.

Satan's alternative to God's laws go on and on, and he takes the opposite approach every time.

JH :-)

Do you honestly believe that anyone gets up in the morning and says "Today I will try to do as much wrong as possible"?

Hey. Your talking to a guy who doesn't think his own Catholic baptism is valid. :-)

Because the Catholic church accepts it as valid does not mean that I do! ;o)

I never said baptisms and communions weren't valid. Those are between the recipient and God. I said get the perverts out as soon as possible. Simple as that.

Then you and Dave are in agreement. Wasn't that easy? ;o)

Maybe you Non-Catholics sin differently. Can any of y'all answer my question? Do you ever repent of a sin and then end up repeating it, despite your best efforts? Does this ever happen again and again?

When you examine yourself over the years, are there some things you just keep doing no matter how much you try to stop?

ipeV, are you without sin?

Loaded question, and not relevent.

A perfectly valid question, considering that ipeV has made the claim that those who sin lack faith.

Do you still beat your wife?

This was intended to be a loaded question, in response to ipeV's loaded question:

" So you are now making excuses for ongoing practice of pedophilia?" (#50,847).

God holds those who he enters an agreement with, and not those who were not a part of it.

Then those who are not a part of it should abstain from quoting those passages as support for their positions. If they are not relevent to the non-Catholic, then they can't be used to beat a Catholic over the head. Simple consistency.
