You should wear your anathema like a badge of honor. If the Church is as wrong as you think she is, then being declared outside of her should be good news for you, right?
Are you a member of the Roman Catholic Church? Do you believe all that she teaches? Are you a follower of the Pope?
No. You're not. You recognize this. Why can't the Church recognize as well that you are outside her?
It's like the homosexual activists. They are not happy being left to themselves and tolerated. No, they want their lifestyle to be accepted and celebrated by all.
Ain't gonna happen, pal. Protestant ideas are still wrong, they are still anathema. Nothing will ever change that. Deal with it.

Sure I can be. God used a donkey. And if God wants to see me as perfect and free from sin who am I to kick against the goads? But if I'm (God forbid) pokin' a 12 year old I expect to be delivered over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh so that my sould will someday be saved. Being turned over doesn't mean doing a communion service and delivering a sermon.
I highly doubt that. Someone who understood would exhibit quite different behavior than you have. Engaging in ridicule, for instance, would not be a proper response.

Dave could I get you to respond to this scripture and how it relates to horny pediphile priests? I've asked about 3 times now. I've even answered all the questions you've asked.
1 Corinthians 5 1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. 2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
Is "horny" necessary? Are you puffed up?
I agree with the Scripture. What do you think I think? It has always clearly been my position that such men should be removed from the priesthood. Ask anyone.
Which is entirely irrelevant to the question of whether a man's sins make it imposible for him to act validly as a priest. No, they do not. That was also made clear.
Someone with serious problems should not be working in the ministry and should have no authority to perform sacraments. He should be "de-frocked." That has always been my position. Nobody I know was in favor of what the bishops did who shuffled these cases around. Nobody.
But none of that changes the fact that a man who is ordained a priest becomes a channel for Christ.
