The Neverending Story
An ongoing debate on Scripture, Tradition, History and Interpretation.
Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams |

LOL...are ya gonna be here and make a run for it? About 7 pm central? Mack, I have young children at home. I got home from work, changed clothes, finished assembling a new play fort I've been building for the kids (I had all the heavy lifting done, just had to add some accessories). Picked up the toys they left in the yard. Came inside and gave them baths. Finally had a bite to eat while they had a snack. Got their teeth brushed, bedtime story, and into bed. Then ran to the grocery store.
This is the first chance I've had to sit down all night.

I have to count how many I need and multiply it by 2 and then add a few extra to do this. Tonight, several times I had to restart every third one. I figured I needed 30 so I hit sixty and then added forty more just for fun :')

I'm a former Brewers fan who declared his fan free agency after enduring too many woeful seasons. I prefer the National League, and I'd prefer to root for a Midwestern team. But I can't root for the Cardinals because I still hold it against them for beating the Brewers in the '82 World Series. During spring training last year I started following the Giants. We are a diverse household: my son is a huge Yankees fan (we include Derek Jeter in our bedtime prayer every night, while he recovers from his shoulder separation), my wife likes the Braves, and my daughter likes the Phillies.

Congrats on 50,000. Actually if I was a betting man, I would have bet that you'd be able to snag that trophy.
Do you think if I posted the secret [FR 5th Amendment] handshakes that this thread would get yanked?
To: Invincibly Ignorant
Nah, just my computer. It is new,and doesn't seem to know what I want it do sometimes.

But I can't root for the Cardinals because I still hold it against them for beating the Brewers in the '82 World Series.Sounds like a dandy reason to root for 'em. ;-) That was quite a Series, unlike the two we lost to the Twinkies and the steenkin' Royals. I was in person at the last game the Cards won in each of those Series. I still regret not having gotten Game 7 tickets.
Lately, I wish we could play the Brewers every day. :-)

How did you ever manage that?
Might it have been...predestinated?
Couldn't you have at least posted a picture of Calvin?

why do they keep abducting the dumbest people on earth? Maybe they aren't abducting them; maybe they are planting them...
