A settlement has been reached after a man in Scott County, Iowa, accused his former employer of firing him for wearing Christian-themed T-shirts to counter its alliance with the LGBTQ agenda.
Cosby “Corey” Cunningham sued Eaton Corp. after it endorsed so-called “Pride Month,” which ramps up throughout the month of June, the Iowa Capital Dispatch reported Thursday.
He sued the global power management company in June 2024 and alleged it had violated his civil rights over the matter.
Cunningham, who is a Christian, decided to take action when Eaton initiated a ceremony recognizing “Pride Month” in early June 2023, per the lawsuit.
The company reportedly erected a pride flag, encouraged staff to wear certain colors, and offered pride-themed shirts for them to buy.
In response, Cunningham claimed he started wearing T-shirts with Bible verses printed on them to show people at work he was sincere about his faith and beliefs. One of Cunningham’s shirts reportedly said, “Pride goes before destruction, an arrogant spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:18.”
“Over the next eight weeks, Eaton managers allegedly held a series of meetings with Cunningham to express their concern that his actions were perceived by others as inflammatory and that they might violate company policy,” the Dispatch report continued:
According to the lawsuit, management refused Cunningham’s requests for a religious accommodation to wear the T-shirts, threatened him with dismissal, and sent him home on at least two occasions for refusing to stop wearing the shirts. On Aug. 23, 2023, the company fired Cunningham, the lawsuit alleges.
…
In his lawsuit, Cunningham was represented by Robert Anderson of Atlantic, an attorney for the Pacific Justice Institute, a conservative organization that said it works to promote religious freedom and parental rights.

So how much did he get?
Tolerance of the pride people against the “humble thyself before God,” shows there is a prince of darkness still running things until Jesus takes the deed to planet earth.
It’s disgusting, I know.
Good question!
Pride is a deadly sin.
I remember when my group was blocked from marching in the gay pride parade, but we did have our “normal” t-shirts.
“The San Diego ACLU chapter, along with Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, represented San Diego Lesbian and Gay Pride, Inc. (Pride), a private nonprofit organization that sponsors San Diego’s annual Lesbian and Gay Pride Parade and Festival, in its defense of a lawsuit brought by a group calling themselves the “Normal People.””

LGBTcrap and “pride month” have one purpose: to force people to conform and to persecute anyone who won’t conform. It’s not about pride. It’s about coercion.
My employer holds their national sales meeting in June. Every year I wonder if we’ll get rainbow themed shirts. Most of our sales reps are very conservative as is much of upper management, but not those that manage the events.
I’d suspect there would be a pile of rainbow shirts on the floor. I also suspect they know that and don’t want to be embarrassed.
Good for this guy for standing up for his principles. If there are no rules on clothing messages they cannot stop him.
It is fascinating to see how the LGBTQ types are able to behave however they wish to the disgust of almost all other normal people, yet when just a few of the almost all other normal people behave as they wish to the disgust of the LGBTQ types, the normal people are fired or arrested.
I have to laugh inside at the LGBTA types, every chance I get, for refusing to seek help from a church or psych ward.
I remember on the list of pride milestones at work they listed LGBT people political victories. Why should companies celebrate political victories? There were people voting for the other side. What about them?
I like to remind people that AIDS came to the US when some gay visited there and caught it, returned to the US and spread it around at a pride orgy on Fire Island in 1980.
They then tried to spread it to the general population of people so the medical labs would start working on a cure.
Remember how innocent people with hemophilia were killed off with blood donated by Bill Clinton’s Arkansas prisons.
