Without a sincere divine righteous repentence, American will be destroyed.

Kind of a rephrasing of your words, but it still gets the point across. I've been saying this for years, and God is long suffering and willing that any perish. But there will come a time when nothing will atone for the nation's sins.

2nd Chronicles 34:22-28, "And Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spake to her to that effect. And she answered them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell ye the man that sent you to me, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah: Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be poured out upon this place, and shall not be quenched. And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to enquire of the LORD, so shall ye say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel concerning the words which thou hast heard; Because thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and humbledst thyself before me, and didst rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard thee also, saith the LORD. Behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So they brought the king word again.

In this passage, we can see that God can and will destroy a nation because of national sins that get to the point where no sacrifice will atone for it. Yet, we also see God's mercy in that Josiah was allowed to be "gathered to thy grave in peace." This passage perfectly demonstrates God's Wrath, and God's Mercy, in particular, the Rapture of the Church.

In short, there will be a day of reconning, to be sure, and things will get worse and worse, but there will also come a day of deliverance.

ALL THAT IS LEFT TO DO IS Seek National REPENTANCE and to PETITION THE ALMIGHTY TO SPARE AMERICA!

There are preachers (and individuals) who love to blame U.S. Christians for U.S. moral and spiritual collapse. Frankly, these people make me sick! What are THEY doing about fixing our culture besides blaming Christians? There are millions of Word and Spirit-led Christians in our nation who pray & intercede for our nation daily. Similarly, millions of of Christians are politically active - supporting candidates who best represent their Christian values.

So, what's the problem? The problem is that anti-Christian men and women control our institutions (govt, media, education, business ...).

U.S. Word and Spirit-led Christians need to continue praying and interceding for the nation and that (anti-Christian) hearts be converted - and that the anti-Christ forces in our land be made last. The answer is NOT blaming our brothers and sisters for the ills in our land!

" If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." - 2 Chronicles 7:14

If this verse is true, and I believe it is, then the Lord will heal our land because Word and Spirit-led Christians in this land have been doing for a long time what the verse prescribes.

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his Christ, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.” - Psalm 2

So, what are we talking here? Churching up every Sunday, or something more serious, like sack cloth and ashes and no vices?
