Seminarians today [if there are any] are "reactionary," Rev. Salvador Barcadit, Rector of the Seminary of Barcelona, Spain, told ElPuntaVui.cat (August 13).
Rector Barcadit has noticed "a shift to the right" among seminarians: "The new generations, in times of crisis, seek security and these styles, these more fundamentalist and more conservative tendencies."
He sees the shift to conservatism can also be found among young people outside of the Church.
Barcadit's hope: "Pope Francis and also the bishops are concerned about this reality and want to try to redirect it."
In his seminary, they want to influence the young people with a "broader vision, a spirit of dialogue and a mentality that is more open to the diversity of people".
Ping
So dialogue and diversity with everyone except those who hold on to the traditional Catholic faith. How broad minded!
If you want to go about increasing the shortage of priests, that's the very way to do it!"
Screwtape, Senior Tempter
(apologies to Mr. Lewis . . . )
My last Novus Ordo mass was at the Barcelona cathedral. I was in the neighborhood, and it’s a spectacular edifice, and it was a convenient time. But sadly, the mass was truly Novus Ordo at its worst. BCN’s diocesan seminarians would do well to move to Madrid or Andalucia, or, better yet, to the FSSP or similar traditionalist seminary.
Lol, you lose! Steamrolling is here tge other way now.
Bishop discovering sissy men don’t actually want to be priests.
I watched a YouTube video of a Drug Recognition Expert concerning Kamala’s talking. Very interesting:
He works for safety of all churches.

Translation: Too many seminarians actually have standards,
That’s very rigid of him.
The problem is his own people. What leftist wants to go into religion today?
Rev. Salvador Barcadit, Rector of the Seminary of Barcelona, Spain. “Rector Barcadit has noticed “a shift to the right” among seminarians: “The new generations, in times of crisis, seek security and these styles, these more fundamentalist and more conservative tendencies.” Why don’t we all practice these styles Rev.: The teachings of Jesus Christ and the Ten Commandments. Works for me.
>> In [Barcadit’s] seminary, they want to influence the young people with a “broader vision, a spirit of dialogue and a mentality that is more open to the diversity of people”.
Translation: they want the new meat to be “woke” rather than conservative so the seminarians can groom them as deviant sex partners.
Now that buggering altar boys is too risky, what is there to draw liberals to the seminary?
Because Marx is the god who failed.
You know what this means, dude, don't you? You're an old fart. Nobody's interested in the smell around you Lefty dweebs. You remember how you looked down on "old-fashioned, out-of-date" conservatives in the 1960s, when you were a young jackass? Well, today, you get to play the fossil. Enjoy.
And the kicker is that in reality, the youngsters of today are right, and when you were young, you were just the same shallow, ignoramus you've remained to this day.
Too many Christians in the seminary?
I love the cartoon.
