Right now, we are disappointed and unnecessarily burdened by the number of Your people who don’t vote. We are here to cast this burden on You, remembering Your faithful promises and power. We are so very grateful for this Constitutional Republic and the awesome gift we have to maintain the freedoms You granted us. I am reminded of Luke 19:3: “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’ (Luke 19:13) You want us to occupy and spread Your way of doing and being right in whatever spheres of responsibility You have placed us.
You have said:
“ My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. (Jn. 10:27)
But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. (1 Jn. 2:27)
I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment (Jn. 16:7,8)
I am the Good Shepherd; and I know and recognize My own, and My own know and recognize Me—(Jn. 10:14)
Thank You for completing the work that You have begun in Your children. We trust You, Great and Powerful Shepherd. If Your people could hear and heed Your voice to become born again, they can hear and heed Your voice as You lead them.
Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in [b]you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.
