Completely removing the national debt from the new platform, which is in my opinion the biggest threat facing the US, is completely inexplicable, and inexcusable as well. The Republican Party has spent my entire adult life proving that it is fully vested in fiscal irresponsibility. It would be the height of comical hypocrisy for the GOP to pretend it gave a flying sh!t about it now.

Some of them had their hand in the cookie jar but the Republican Party has historically stood for smaller government and spending. You’re seemingly excited that principle is being undermined now by a big spending liberal New Yorker who’s wrestled control of everything, and are just trying to muddy the water by re-writing history here today.
