Nor is it possible for Mary to intercede

Mary intercedes with and through Jesus, the same way any other Christian intercessory prayer works. Please re-read the whole chapter of 1 Timothy 2. It starts out by commanding intercessory prayer, not prohibiting it.

Then your disagreement is with God!

John 14:6
King James Version

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

While people were on earth they could pray for others. Paul is providing this to Timothy who was here on earth.

Paul also makes it crystal clear there is one mediator between God and men and that is Christ. No one else is accorded this in Scripture.

In this context, and that is the key to properly understanding Scripture, the word mediator conveys this meaning.

3316 mesítēs (from 3319 /mésos, "in the middle") – properly, an arbitrator ("mediator"), guaranteeing the performance of all the terms stipulated in a covenant (agreement).

Mary cannot fulfill this requirement as she cannot guarantee the terms of the covenant. Nor can anyone else.

Only Christ can do this.

To claim otherwise is to disregard the clear teaching of Scripture on this matter.

********

1First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, 2for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

5For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

6who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time. 7For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying) as a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

8Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension.

WHY do you apparently HATE Mary by limiting her vast powers?!?

Except Mary is deceased, and not omniscient or omnipresent.
