Agreed. If not sooner. IMHO, it's uncomfortable, but a necessary house cleaning that we're seeing with churches that had adopted the leftist cult teachings. They've all either hemorrhaged membership, and/or kicked out the leftist leaders, and/or local churches have left the larger denomination.
We could be living in the early stages of the next great awakening. If you look at prior great awakenings, they tend to start off in situations like our current one, where good minded Christians take on a "We've had enough!" mindset of worldly people having their way in church and politics.
Most of them around me in conservative Texas are dying on the vine. Notably, I remember one UMC in my neighborhood putting up a notice on their marquee sign of their last service, the day that the same-sex Obergefell decision was released, ironically.
