No, I am not a fan of Dolly Parton. Parton follows the exact same weak, compromised path of civil Christianity, the very path that is creating hell on earth.
I am quite familiar with her singing “Christian” pop duets, but I am also familiar with her willingness to accept and endorse the very sins that are going to send many to hell and will also ensnare many, many others leading them also to their eternal destruction.
Does Dolly Parton not have enough money and fame? Is her unwillingness to call out sin a desire not to surrender her personal fame and fortune to God, even some of it? When do we lay it all on the line and trust the Almighty God?
I am so weary of weak Christians who love God, but love the world just a little bit more. Give us a strong Joshua who trusts God and not the many weak and fearful who assist leading a nation into the confusing wilderness of sin and ultimately eternal destruction.
