After Jesus told the mob to cast the first stone if a particular one was without sin, he told the adulterous woman to go and sin no more.

Key words there are ‘sin no more’.
The Jews knew what sin was. They had the word Of God that told them.
Jesus did not say the woman didn’t sin. He was saying she did and should stop doing what she was doing that was a sin.
He simply stopped the stoning.
Your retelling leaves out quite a bit of what scripture actually says. Also, in the context of this thread it implies that telling someone they are sinning and bashing them to death with rocks are equivalent actions.
Were those things what was intended?
