He also claimed Jesus and the Apostles were not Sabbatarians (or otherwise they would be doomed to hell presumably). It's little things like that is holding me back.

That assertion seems to me to be unbelievable. What evidence can you present ?

WHICH assertion? That Jesus and the Apostles were not Sabbatarians? Or that I’m doomed for being one?

Jesus wasn’t a Sabbatarian — . Jesus is the fulfillment of the Sabbath rest in the sense that only he can actualize the “rest” the Sabbath symbolized.
Christ perfectly observed the Sabbath as he did all of the old covenant. However, after he enunciated a new covenant at the Last Supper, his emphasis seems to be on Sundays. Sunday was the day he was found to have been resurrected, and his first two appearance to the twelve disciples were on the following two Sundays (Jn. 20:19, 20:26). Again, five weeks later—on Sunday—the Holy Spirit descended on the apostles.

I am courtesy pinging Cronos as he/his words are being discussed.

the Apostles were NOT Sabbatarians - they worshipped the Lord on the Lord’s Day, the FIRST day of the week.

If that happens, we can pray that they would cooperate with God’s grace to elect an actual Catholic pope, who would then restore the Traditional Latin Mass, repudiate the errors that have proliferated since Vatican II, and properly consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us! Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us!

Sort of a nutshell what's wrong with Roman Catholicism.

And I'm taking it this writer, like you, doesn't believe the pope was duly and legally elected.

To repudiate Vatican II is to admit Roman Catholicism is in error in its dogma. I don't see Rome doing that anytime soon.

And this continues to be a violation of Unam Sanctam....which Roman Catholics just casually reject. And then expect everyone else to jump on board.

>>Perhaps few people today know that the Father of Protestantism started the ball rolling on the destructive path of globalism and one-world government.<<

Guess he must have learned it from Unam Sanctam.

To be clear, few Catholics are paying serious attention to these shenanigans by Francis.

Well, there's one Roman Catholic who sure is....daily posts against his duly, legally elected pope.

Shenanigans is what made me finally pull the plug and go to being an agnostic. The church can keep their shenanigans.

It's hilarious that an anticatholic is lecturing on who is a “duly, legally” elected pope. As if he is the one to judge and recognize who is or is not the Pope. Especially, since he would never acknowledge any other pope, "duly" elected or not.

If he would ever acknowledge the "duly and legally" elected pope, Pope Pius XI, he would not be outside the One, Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.

So whether it be Pope St. Pius X or Pope Francis or any other pope, the anticatholic will attack them all.

As does Satan.

Finally, it's not surprising that anticatholics are so jumping at the bit to defend Jorge Bergoglio. He is their friend after all. He's one of them.

Well, at least we now know which pope you recognize.

Eagle Gnome knows nothing about what I think or who I recognize to be the Pope.

He’s full of hot air, as usual.

Then are we to take it you recognize the current pope as a duly and legally elected pope?

You're not very good at this public debate, OMCET....perhaps you should stay in the caucus threads.

I’ve recognized all “duly elected” popes.

What makes you think otherwise?
