No “Communion in the Paw” at Chartres because traditional Catholics recognize the difference between the royal priesthood and the rest of us.
Too bad some “catholics” don’t recognize the distinction.

Quia si linguam Latinam discis, multas linguas discere potes?
Of course, an AI Latin Translator helps too :-)
As a non-Catholic I can say with all honesty that the Latin Rite mass I once attended was the most beautiful worship service I’ve ever attended.
Vat II progressive Popes are destroying The Church. Only solution for saving The Church is to reverse Vat II and return to the Latin Mass because it was a mistake by the Curia for following Satan.
I’ve been going to Latin Mass at Mater Dei in Dallas on more occasions as my wife schedules masses for our family members. Last one was last Sunday at 7AM, and it was SRO, very impressive.
If the Latin mass was good enough for Saint Paul it is good enough for me.
Except he did it in Greek or Hebrew.
and on the Sabbath. That sort of spoils the whole Latin Mass thing altogether.
Pay no mind to the troll. He doesn't know; he wasn't there. In those times, people also spoke Latin and Aramaic.
St William in Greenville has Latin. Also english, spanish, and bilingual.
St. Paul would have been proselytizing to the Jews in the synagogues on Shabbat; he would have been offering Mass on Sunday, which was the Christian day of worship instituted by the Catholic Church to commemorate the Resurrection.
Really? So St. Paul was a Catholic. Wowser. And here I thought he was a Jew. And that Jesus was a Jew. And the both followed the Law as in the Ten Commandments. I guess Jesus came to destroy the law. Not in my Bible.
He was a Jewish Catholic.
The very Catholic Cardinal Aron Jean-Marie Lustiger, former Archbishop of Paris, was an Ashkenazi Jew. He was clearly Catholic, but if you asked him his ethnicity, he would say straight up that he was Jewish.
Why could one not be both?
That would be because it’s all about worshipping God and celebrating the Eucharist.
I'm sure there's a number of reasons.
Romans 3 Paul explains about being Jewish and how faith and works go together. Faith saves but works is a demonstration of that faith. In Romans 3:31 he shows that the Law is still integral in the Christian walk. All of the Apostles were Sabbatarians. Did they preach on the Sabbath only? No, but they kept the Sabbath day holy because that is Gods Law. Gods Law does not save but only points out sin. It is a measurement to judge how far from perfection we are and how far we have to go.
It is impossible to follow the Law without a new heart. You must want to please God and not yourself or your Church friends. That is where the Holy Spirit is to come into your life to help fulfill Gods Law as He wishes. That's what the New Covenant is all about.
The whole thing is creepy. It’s unbiblical.
Yet, here you are. You are drawn to a thread about the Roman Catholic Latin Mass. Perhaps the Holy Spirit is directing you to open your heart to the Catholic Faith.
