Thanks for the link. Here’s another one that came up afterwards. CBN Interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iksrmK0I9MQ
I’m against anyone making folks pay to hear God’s Word. I’m not even for taking up a collection in the church service. Just leave a box out front, unlabeled, and let folks drop in what they can.

I’ll ask my pastor friend we’re eating dinner right now
I looked it up. It’s promoted under a website called ‘Israelguys’. I’ll not plug it any further, but the $260 includes a ‘gala dinner’ on one night.

I agree
When I tried pastoring a church (it only last nine months before they ran me out of town, LOL) I floated this idea. The looks they gave me were priceless. If I ever get another chance, I’ll suggest the same thing.
It’s the original site. My friend and I were in total agreement. You can even see where the stones were thrown down, in fulfillment of Jesus’ prophecy.
What massive stones! (Bible from one of the Disciples)
Oh - I’ve often wondered if I could officially preach
I don’t think I could be a pastor though - that’s a heavy load
[I got that video bookmarked to watch later. Thanks Ferris!]
Thanks for visiting and bumping the thread!

God bless.
Again, thank you for visiting and bumping the thread. God bless.
Our pastor was speaking about this a few Sundays ago. He said when the temple was razed it burned, and one theory is that all of the gold decorations melted and went down in the joints of the stones. So people (Romans I guess??) dismantled the stones to get to the gold.
I’m watching the video right now. I’m glad he mentioned that we’re 75 now 76 years almost past the rebirth of Israel.
That’s exactly what I was thinking about on October 5th. Though I had completely missed that we were approaching the 50-year anniversary of the 1973 Yom Kippur attack.
As I have mentioned before I thought we were 66 years (actually 56 years) past the recapture of Jerusalem (it was probably late and my math was off for about 14-20 seconds) so I was wondering why we hadn’t seen major events.
Sadly, it was to come true 48 hours later.
I’m also glad that he mentioned the “two-state solution” for this will surely happen.
Yes, that’s the prevailing theory.
Mark 13:1-10
Christian Standard Bible
Destruction of the Temple Predicted
1 As he was going out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Teacher, look! What massive stones! What impressive buildings!”
2 Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left upon another—all will be thrown down.”
Signs of the End of the Age
3 While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives across from the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him privately, 4 “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished?”
5 Jesus told them, “Watch out that no one deceives you. 6 Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and they will deceive many. 7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don’t be alarmed; these things must take place, but it is not yet the end. 8 For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines.[a] These are the beginning of birth pains.
Persecutions Predicted
9 “But you, be on your guard! They will hand you over to local courts,[b] and you will be flogged in the synagogues. You will stand before governors and kings because of me, as a witness to them. 10 And it is necessary that the gospel be preached to all nations.

He’s doing very well - I’m listening as I type - I’m paying pretty close attention
That’s what I heard, or read, as well. If folks like Bob Cornuke are correct, what is revered as the Temple Mount was in fact the platform used for the Roman encampment, and that the Temple was to the south of that platform. I’ll have to look for the reference for that. I believe it was Josephus who recorded that.
