When a non -Catholics minister has a moral failing, Catholics use it as an example of the weakness of being not Catholic and under one centralized governing body.

When Catholic clergy does it, it’s blown off by Catholics as not a big deal because they believe in *true* Catholicism, whatever version of it is the one they favor.
