I did not refute the documented examples of apparitions by the RCC. Much to the contrary I frequently refer to RCC documentation on many miracles. I also defer to RCC documentation on speaking in tongues because the RCC cites examples of people speaking known languages when too many schismatic/cultish denominations accept gibberish or baby talk as some sort of ‘Holy Language’.
This does not change the fact that the current leadership of the RCC refutes Scripture especially when it comes to homosexuality.
Hieronymus, I am a strong supporter of traditional Catholicism. John Paul II and Benedict XVI were good men. Jorge Bergoglio is not a good man.
But as an outsider I am also quite free to denounce the Catholic leadership as the destructive cabal of homosexual socialists that they are.
You know what’s really sad? As much as I may criticize the RCC I am still a stronger supporter of the RCC and my Catholic friends than most Catholics.
What did it for me was attending a Latin Mass and appreciating the beauty and inspiration of what a service of worship could be. I mourn for the Catholics who have never and will never experience such beauty.
I also denounce those who would deny that beauty to the faithful they are supposed to serve and not oppress.

Your name rang a bell, but only vaguely. Now that I see a more extensive post I am wondering if I recall you correctly—raised in California, happily married at 18 outside of California, with a boatload of kids, possibly in Wyoming?
There are sane Bishops, and the remain a part of the leadership of the Church. The present Pope is a Jesuit, and one can never tell exactly what most Jesuits mean for sure: I would generally advise ignoring him, unless you happen to be a Bishop or he addresses you directly.
If you know Trad Catholics, I trust this is not the first time you have heard that advice.
