I even wrote my childhood pastors daughter to ask her what her daddy would have thought of it all
She told me we’re covenant Christians
A somewhat distant animal
She sent me transcripts of her dads sermons from the 60s and 70s addressing this

I’ve had Jewish biz partners and pals and intimate paramours much of my life including 3 Jewish biz partners now between Michigan and LA and here in music city and I never proselytized them then or now
We poke at each other over culture and identity and religion but I’ve never sweated their creed
