Matthew 6:34 "Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof."

In Acts when Yeshua was lifted up into Heaven, what did the 'angel' say to the multitudes who watched the event? Right. Yeshua will return the same way you see Him going up, He'll return the same way - every eye will see him. Every eye. which includes non-believers.

Questions for chuck:

Simply show us recorded events of people witnessing the Second Coming post 70 AD. Surely it made the local paper.

Only the biggest event in all of history, the Second Coming of Christ, and no one in the church writes about it??

With the Second Coming having transpired...per you, but not Scripture....has death been defeated for those who may have become believers after the Second Coming? Do they go to Heaven? Is there a resurrection for them...and that would include us as well.

Has Satan been slain?

Was Satan tossed into the Lake of Fire? If so, please account for all of the evil in the world since 70 AD.

If the restrainer, that being the Holy Spirit, was removed to make way for anti-Christ, how are people saved if the Spirit is not here to move people to salvation?

Who were the two witnesses that prophesied for 1,260 days and clothed in sackcloth?

Please account for the Battle of Armageddon. Where was this fought? Who were the opponents?

For your answers....no links to your blog site or anyone else's site. I want to know what YOU think about these questions.

Do you really believe the nonsense you post or are you actually working for the father of lies, who just coincidentally is able to quote Scripture for his own use.

CHARLES S. MEEK: 10, 20, AND PRETERISM STILL FALLS SHORT.

Part 1 Stephen Whitsett M.Div. Th.M. PhD (abd)

ABSTRACT: Charles Meeks like many other Full Preterist writers / teachers of Full Preterism lack in a foundation of consistent, coherent, or unified theology that has been acquired over years of scholarly driven research and development. They often have little theological background and even less historical knowledge of Christianity and even take pride in telling people they just get their belief from the Bible alone, as if they are some Andreas Karlstadt or Thomas Munzer and less a Luther.

Attempts made by FP to systemize their theology has yet been accomplished in over 70 years of its existence. But then it never can be. Meeks attempt to provide 10 clues as to how to understand the Heaven and Earth in the NT and writes 20 observation as to why Revelation was written pre-AD 70. This paper examines his arguments to demonstrate the fundamental issues that undermine the FP paradigm credibility of not only the written works but of the authors / teachers of FP.

There are two principles that drive the FP movement born from out of the roots of Max King and his disciples from the churches of Christ. 2 The fist being a rejection of the church’s teaching for the last 2000 years from either the Catholic or Protestant perspective. 3 The second is based on the idea of the first, each person must study the bible for themselves to arrive at the truth and not depend on the interpretations of others, including other FP. The end result is a movement plagued with in-house fighting and disagreements with over 17 different “official” forms of FP starting with the split of IBV or CBV. 4

Each vying for attention and notoriety with their YOU Tube Channels and blogs that are designed to spread their messages along with a plethora of books and websites

There is no official credited University that teaches FP as a viable option of Eschatology or recognized degrees offered in FP theology. FP does not have one viable Greek or Hebrew scholar who supports their position of interpretations or any type of PhD backing. It remains on the backs of the unlearned.

Having years of bible study under your belt does not equal “qualified,” if one never learned the proper rules of hermeneutics or exegesis, the system of study remains flawed form its inception. Any number of posts will reveal this failure when compared to the work of scholars.

I find it most curious that Christians seem to find hope in the destruction of the planet, thus eliminating unsaved friends and future progeny from knowing Jesus—and a shiny new earth in which even carnivorous animals take up vegetarianism.

Chuck....did you really say this????

Out of curiosity....do you believe in annihilationism?

Or do you adhere to universalism?

DIDNT JESUS SPECIFICALLY SAY THE TRIBULATION WOULD HAPPEN IN HIS GENERATION … ??
No. He did not. Never used any reference to “his” generation, whatever that could possibly mean.

And get it right: The phrase is “great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, neither shall be”, with the next verse explicitly stating “And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved” . . . no war took place in 70 AD that ever came close to endangering the existence of “all flesh” (the phrase means what it says; it is not mistranslated), nor have the many subsequent wars, not even the unprecedentedly bad world wars of the last century. Nor has seismic activity risen to the level described in Matthew 24:7.
