For generations we have hoped, prayed, and yearned for the coming of Moshiach. The Gemara in Sanhedrin sets forth various preconditions for the coming of Moshiach. What are we to make of all these conditions? Are they to be taken literally? How are these teachings meant to help us in our avodah to bring Moshiach?

“[Moshiach] Ben-Dovid will not come until fish is sought out for an ill person, and yet none is found.”1 The Gemara states that Moshiach will come in a generation that is either entirely righteous, or entirely transgressors. The Jewish nation will either be on an exalted spiritual level, and thus be deserving Moshiach, or on a very low spiritual level, and thus at a point where there is no choice but for Moshiach to come. It thus follows that we can explain the precondition of “until there are no fish for the ill” to be referring to either one of these two situations. In an undeserving generation, the Jewish nation as a whole is on a very low spiritual level. The “sickly” person is one who has transgressed, and is therefore spiritually ill. In order to recover from his spiritual illness he must do teshuvah, which is why fish is being sought out for him. Why does he need a fish to do teshuvah? The transgression, which is the source of spiritual illness, is only possible when one has lost sight of the fact that Elokus is his true life source. A fish lives within—and is totally surrounded by—its life source, and is thus the spiritual representation of constant awareness of one’s source. When the sick person eats the fish, it brings this spiritual awareness to him, and helps him attain teshuvah.

Jesus will reveal Himself to the Jews when He returns. Zech 12:10-14. Then read Zech 14 complete.

He will reveal Himself for those that are still looking. It will happen after the church is Raptured on Feast of Trumpets but before Atonement 7 years later.

Considering today's date (Nisan 1 at sundown) with the eclipse incoming, along with all the hubbub about the horned devil comet and "Gog u'Magog" (=70) spiritual wars, in this year of the Green Dragon, I thought I'd post this info about a dragon dream:

In the LXX, the Book of Esther has some extra text before and after, like a set of bookends. Ahead of the beginning is:

In the second year of the reign of Ahasuerus the great, on the first day of the month of Nisan, Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, of the tribe of Benjamin, had a dream. He was a Jew, and dwelt in the city of Susa, a great man, who was a servant in the king's court. He was also one of the captives, which Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon carried from Jerusalem with Jeconiah king of Judea; and this was his dream:

Behold a noise of a tumult, with thunder and earthquakes and uproar in the land: And behold, two great dragons came forth ready to fight, and their cry was great. And at their cry all nations were prepared to battle, that they might fight against the righteous people. And lo, a day of darkness and obscurity, tribulation and anguish, affliction and great uproar, upon the earth. And the whole righteous nation was troubled, fearing their own evils, and were ready to perish. Then they cried unto God, and upon their cry, as if from a little fountain, arose the greatest flood and many overflowing waters. And this interpretation after the end:

Then Mordecai said, “God has done these things. For I remember a dream which I saw concerning these matters, and nothing thereof has failed. A little fountain became a river, and there was light and the sun and much water: this river is Esther, whom the king married and made queen; and the two dragons are myself and Haman. And the nations were those which were assembled to destroy the name of the Jews; and my nation is this Israel, who cried to God and were saved, for the Lord has saved his people, and the Lord has delivered us from all those evils, and God has wrought signs and great wonders, which have not been done among the Gentiles. Therefore he has made two lots, one for the people of God and another for all the Gentiles. And these two lots came at the hour and time and day of judgment, before God among all nations. So God remembered his people and justified his inheritance. Therefore those days shall be given to them in the month Adar, the fourteenth and fifteenth day of the same month, with an assembly and joy and with gladness before God, according to the generations for ever among his people.”

In the fourth year of the reign of Ptolemeus and Cleopatra, Dositheus, who said he was a priest and Levite, and Ptolemeus his son, brought this letter of Purim, which they said was the same, and that Lysimachus the son of Ptolemeus, who was in Jerusalem, had translated it.

If you think of the eclipse path as a river of missing light, with its banks as the levels of "wet"...

NASAs eclipse "live" feed has been interesting as they've been rolling through their totality coverage locations one at a time after the fact.

What stands out as these places go in and out of totality -- kind of like bookends -- is the crowds screaming with excitement, *especially* when the diamond rings appear.

So there's been a lot of "O WOW, there's the diamond ring!!!" from the reporterettes.

Another thing re this eclipse in Pisces and of the people needing fish (representing sustenance, nourishment, support), and of Mordecai's dream according to this material in the LXX,

There's the detail about the alternate, word play translation of Megillat Esther as the "Revealing of the Hidden", because here's this river of hidden light [אור נסתר]*, flowing swiftly by today with all of the "Wows" from the women upon seeing diamond rings, as I had described upstream.

And the broader context of the total solar eclipse is that it's the second one, completing the 7-years "X" over America aka Columbia, the "dove".

In the NT, a dove is a peristera περιστερά -- of "uncertain derivation",

but it wouldn't surprise me if it concerns [περῐ́ ] Esther [Εσθήρ], the star [ᾰ̓στήρ] of the show.

Kind of like the little Columbia dove-of-progress that represents manifest (revealed) destiny. She's even got a rope, and is currently on loan in DC through 2024:

I just happened to notice these equal sums when running the numbers of the phrases while typing this post (I never know what I might find..)

This inspired me to check my list, in case I had a stash of 917s on hand.
