My comment was meant more in jest because of the claim that none would want to hear as the title screamed. It also contained historical reference in the latter part. The majority of Jews rejected Jesus's claim to be the Messiah. Some have changed, while others continue to reject him as the son of the Lord.
It wasn't a sign of me being an antisemite as some wish to claim. For I am a stringent supporter of the Jewish people. I also have tremendous respect for them, but the truth is the truth. The second link provides why they rejected Jesus as the Messiah.
As for the Pope, I often wonder if he even believes the Bible in any of its different editions.
If you find the Pope to be a religious man, that is your right, lots of people, including Catholics do not. I am also not catholic, so will you now jump on my case for speaking the truth about that as well, and label my a Catholic hater?
I was brought up as a Presbyterian. But all the Christian faiths seem to be abandoning religious teachings as of late.
I still have faith in the Lord, religions have become businesses, more than houses of spiritual leadership. Now I suppose some will condemn me for that, but again I speak the truth, as I see it. I mean no disrespect to anyone.
