(Matt. 24:37-39 KJV) says absolutely NOTHING about a tribulation or a rapture -- it says
“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be”
This is about the second coming - nothing about a tribulation, nothing about a secret rapture

. You might be interested to know that early dispensationalism agrees. Sometime in the 20th century someone started saying that the rapture was in Matthew 24. A lie quickly takes root in the soil of this world has to offer and now it is a straman argument. The note in the Scofield Reference Bible for Matthew 24:39 says it is about the second coming. As you know Scofield taught the pre-tribulation rapture but the scripture he cites as evidence came from elsewhere, not Matthew 24.
