——>Where?
Here. Should also be a very good read for Trailerpark Badass. Should give him a much better understanding of your views (mine too).

OK; I'll be the bad guy; but the Book is the thing that laid out EVERYTHING (non-vaguely and non-ambiguously)...
5 Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, "The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses."
6 The apostles and elders met to consider this question. 7 After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: "Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe. 8 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. 9 He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith. 10 Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? 11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are."
12 The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them. 13 When they finished, James spoke up. "Brothers," he said, "listen to me. 14 Simon has described to us how God first intervened to choose a people for his name from the Gentiles. 15 The words of the prophets are in agreement with this, as it is written:
16 "'After this I will return
and rebuild David's fallen tent.
Its ruins I will rebuild,
and I will restore it,
17 that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
even all the Gentiles who bear my name,
says the Lord, who does these things'
18 things known from long ago.
19 "It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. 20 Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. 21 For the law of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath."
The apostles and elders, your brothers,
To the Gentile believers in Antioch, Syria and Cilicia:
Greetings.
24 We have heard that some went out from us without our authorization and disturbed you, troubling your minds by what they said. 25 So we all agreed to choose some men and send them to you with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul— 26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 Therefore we are sending Judas and Silas to confirm by word of mouth what we are writing. 28 It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements: 29 You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things.
Farewell.
30 So the men were sent off and went down to Antioch, where they gathered the church together and delivered the letter. 31 The people read it and were glad for its encouraging message. 32 Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the believers. 33 After spending some time there, they were sent off by the believers with the blessing of peace to return to those who had sent them. [34] 35 But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, where they and many others taught and preached the word of the Lord.
vague and ambiguous ALERT
Galatians 3:11 kjv
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
Again, I have no idea what you are talking about, because it’s not just about agreeing with particular verses. I agree with every verse in the bible. How do you like that? The problem is how it relates to grace, OSAS, OJAJ, salvation, etc... So, sounds like you have some explaining to do.
In like FLINT (not Flynn) could have a sexual connotation, but not necessarily. For me to use it in that context would be gross and inappropriate. I think your mind is in the gutter Elsie.
“In like Flint” is a term used to describe when one is in a very favorable position.
And Bob’s your uncle.
Elsie, everyone already knows that salvation is by faith, not works/law. You can also save 15% on your insurance by switching to Geico.
Now, how about the law and judgment?
That Paul fella said this in 1 Corinthians 7
19Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God’s commandments is what counts.
Hmmm, I wonder why keeping God’s commandments matters so much?
I wonder why Soloman would say this in Eccl 12:
13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
And John in Revelation 14:
12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
And Revelation 22:
14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Hmmmm.
Why would keeping God’s commandments matter (after grace) if all you have to do believe to be saved? Those who don’t keep them won’t be in heaven. WHY IS THAT ELSIE?
Perhaps you need to study a broader range of bible verses to follow.
You use it and I’m in the gutter.
OK.
I've always thought the words in red were more important.
I could be wrong.
So what do you do with everything else? (and why do you keep avoiding my questions?)
Perhaps you need to stop being vague and ambiguous? I’m not the only person to tell you this. I’ve seen it mentioned to you before.
1 Cor 1:19Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God’s commandments is what counts.
Why would Paul say that keeping God’s commandments IS WHAT COUNTS?
But to be fair, I read much more than I post, and I've seen in the religion forum people who have spent hours of the day, literally every day, for more than 20 years posting the same repetitive stuff.
The same names.
Walls of text that do not enlighten, do not inspire, but only exhibit some kind of bizarre one-upsmanship.
Sad.
Asking for a friend.
I don't know what you mean here.
So many people do not understand me.
It’s a curse I bear.
But then, so many seem not to understand Scripture I post either. (Or perhaps they do...)
