There is a Maxwell House factory in Jacksonville, Plant #1, that roast the coffee beans and you can smell it for miles, at least you could when I was a kid. Probably can’t now due to EPA regs and ‘Climate Change’ rules.

It was also located nearby a King Edward Cigar factory and the smell from that was also in the air, if you liked cigars.

Also nearby was a huge bakery for one of the big bread companies, Merita, I think, though they made bread for many different brands. and that smell was also in the air!.....................
