Christ never said the catholic church is the Church. The Church is all his believers, not catholics exclusivly. Catholicism can fall like any denomination.
The Church is all belivers not any institution. ALL things of man will fall.
I agree whole - heartedly. It is the Vatican that pronounces the doctrine of papal infallibility. I am just a tried and true Lutheran. NOT ELCA the Lutherans who wandered off the reservation and forgot the confessions of Martin

There is a problem in your definition - do you consider any “believer in Jesus” as a member of the Church?
What about Jehovah’s witnesses or Mormons? They believe in Jesus, but not as God.
Or Oneness Pentecostals - they reject the Trinity but they hold that Jesus is God. Are they believers in your opinion?
