If Pope Francis ISN’T THE FALSE PROPHET; HE SURE IS RUNNING NUMBER 1 FOR THE POSITION.

Very disheartening. It seemed Bishop Strickland was a lonely voice in the sea of corruption. Christ said Satan would enter into the church during the end times, but would not win. We are there, here, witnessing it. Keep your hearts clean and your faith towards Heaven. The storm rages all around. Sadly.

This same level of corruption has been there since time of the fall. The problem is that fallen men preach the Word. It affirms the notion that the Word itself is infallible and protected by God himself though His Holy Spirit. As in all things secular and religious, the Word is the truth, and administrators simply screw it up. On doctrinal topics, I believe the Catholic Church vests in the pope infallibility though he, himself, is not based on the lineage and succession of St. Peter’s confession. While the Protestants say that it was on his confession but not on Peter the man that the church would be built, it seems that the Holy See disagrees with that and assumes authority as to papal inerrancy.

While I know I am a Lutheran and that makes my lineage of the original rabble rousers according to the Catholic Church, all we did was try to reform but your guy excommunicated us. The current Poe is seriously flawed and apostate in doctrinal issues as they are opposed to the Word. But in the inerrant word of Ecclesiastes vanity of vanities, there is nothing new under the sun.

Satan has always been at work against the little universal church (little c catholic). This is. I thing new but each generation believes it is.

Here I stand.

Christ never said the catholic church is the Church. The Church is all his believers, not catholics exclusivly. Catholicism can fall like any denomination.

The Church is all belivers not any institution. ALL things of man will fall.

I agree whole - heartedly. It is the Vatican that pronounces the doctrine of papal infallibility. I am just a tried and true Lutheran. NOT ELCA the Lutherans who wandered off the reservation and forgot the confessions of Martin

As a traditional conservative Protestant I take no pleasure in this development. I have followed the travails of the traditionalist Catholics as they confront the woke within the leadership of their church. Good luck to them and may God bless them.

Perhaps the pope has demonstrated he has a firm grasp on the wrong Peter.

Papal infallibility only applies when the Pope speaks “Ex-Cathedra” which he was not doing in this instance.
