Beyond that ... I won't make this personal, so I will not speak of other protestants who grasp at authority they do not have.

It’s not personal.
There are plenty of deluded protestants which I try to call out many times and get flamed for doing so.
The only one who has any authority is Christ Jesus, The Messiah.
He holds the keys to death and hades (Revelation 1:18)
He alone is our intercessor (1 Timothy 2:5)
Salvation of the soul is in nobody else (Acts 4:12)
He is the living stone rejected by men but chosen by God (1 Peter 2:4)
He is our Royal High Priest (Hebrews 4:15)
He is our only Sacrifice to God for our sins (1 John 2:2)
Nobody can forgive our sins but HIM (1 John 2:12)
He is our Righteousness of God through faith in Him (Romans 3:22)
It’s only about Him. It always was about Him. It will always be about Him.
He is the AUTHORITY. Nobody or nothing else.

WE have NOT replaced HIM with an IMPOSTOR! But the roman catholic harlot HAS!!!

If what we see in Catholicism throughout the years and especially these days is supposed to be an example of what authority is supposed to do for us, thanks but no thanks. You can have your authority and keep it.
I’m just fine without authority like yours to answer to or tell me what to do and what to beleive.
