“The Catholic Church teaches that when we partake of the Eucharist in Holy Communion, we are consuming the actual physical body of Jesus Christ (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1244, 1275, 1375).”

"even if many members are imperfect and sinner."

Wow. That's an interesting statement. :-)

I know I have eternal life through faith in Christ because of the grace of Almighty God.

Careful, BB. Some cult members might accuse you of the sin presumption. 😆😂😊 Would I be correct in assuming, that you couldn’t care less about the sin of presumption? I certainly don’t.
I hear vicious rumors that most cult members, have no idea where they are going when they die, and that most of them fear death, because they have the horrible feeling that the lake of fire is patiently awaiting their arrival. It doesn’t have to be that way, but all those in Hell, are there, because they chose hell over heaven. My question is, WHY?

even if many members are imperfect and sinner.

IF????

Are you claiming that you have perfect, sinless people in your *church*?

That is just one of the benefits of a living Prophet.

We don't need living prophets when we have the FINAL word, Jesus, and the Scripture He gave us.

Satan can appear as an angel of light and does so to people like Joseph Smith to lead others astray with a false gospel.

Interesting. In the gospels, Jesus makes it sound like it was a one time thing. Put Paul, having it revealed to him by Jesus, indicates that it is a recurring thing.

And Paul states that WHENEVER you drink the wine or eat the bread to remember Jesus. Paul talks about not eating it or drinking it in an unworthy manner and to examine themselves beforehand. Which one does before taking Communion.

However, Paul also says “So, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. If anyone is hungry, he should eat at home, so that when you come together it will not result in judgment.”

Which to me implies that it isn’t just for a ritual, but WHENEVER we eat or drink with fellow believers, that we are to honor Christ and remember him, and to have His spirit within us.

The crux of the Lord’s Prayer is “Give us this day our daily bread”. And it isn’t about food, but the Bread of Life.

For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay on you no greater burden than these requirements: that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality.

And THIS was endorsed by the WHOLE church!!

That is just one of the benefits of a living Prophet.

That speak counter to centuries of Scriptural practices.

What liquid was in the cup from which they all drank? Does it really matter?

To answer this, we must consider what type of drink would have accompanied the Passover. We know that the drink came from grapes because Matthew’s account tells us that specifically: “But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom” (Matthew 26:29).

One can find this in an LDS quad:

Confusion reigns in the Christian world exactly as it arrived from the Catholic Church minus a few points of doctrine used in an attempt to prove otherwise.

I appears that listening to apparitions is an LDS endeavor lifted from the Catholics:

I follow the teachings of Sacred Tradition, Sacred Scripture, and the Magisterium of Christ, the apostles and their successors through the Catholic Church.

Interesting - the priorities shown in this list.

Matthew 15:3 New International Version

Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?

After the sacrament of Baptism, all sins are forgiven, including original sin.

After the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) we obtain pardon from God’s mercy for the offenses committed against him, and at the same time reconciled with the Church.

Holy Communion separates us from sin. As often as we worthily eat this bread and drink the cup, we proclaim the death of Our Lord. As often as his blood is poured out, it is poured out for the forgiveness of sins. I should always receive it, so that it may always forgive my sins. CCC1393

After a good Confession and the forgiveness of our sins, we are in communion with God and free from sin (at least for the time being).

After Baptism and before the age of reason, children are free from sin.

Our Blessed Mother, the Mother of Jesus was conceived without sin (Immaculate Conception) and free from sin.

Saints that have entered Heaven are free from sin, and many free from sin before they die.

It is a wonderful and freeing experience to confess our sins and receive absolution from the priest in this Sacrament that Jesus gave us as He forgives our sins.

Jesus did establish the Catholic Church and named Peter to lead it and gave him authority to baptize, teach what Jesus taught and the authority to interpret the teachings.

Pete?

That "Get thee behind me..." guy?

The guy that got called out for teaching FALSE doctrine?

The one whose 'interpretations' are seen in the seven churches in Asia that the angel told John to write about.

THAT Peter?

Galatians 2:11
When Cephas came to Antioch, however, I opposed him to his face, because he stood to be condemned.

“We don’t need living prophets when we have the FINAL word, Jesus, and the Scripture He gave us.”

That concept is foreign to both the Old and New Testaments.

I would say it is the height of arrogance or ignorance to believe the Holy Bible is the sum total of all Jesus Christ has said or will say. On top of that the Holy Spirit is another source of truth each person has available.

My question would be, who told you Prophets are unnecessary in direct contradiction to the Bible you profess to believe in?

Much of the Bible is from the writings of Prophets it seems to me illogical for a loving God to so quickly and easily end how he has communicated with his children for thousands of years. Now instead of the “word of the Lord” from Prophets, his children are left to decide for themselves. That has led to literally thousands of denominations with differing interpretations of scripture and obvious confusion.

Lest it appear I fail to acknowledge Elsie’s claim there are also offshoots of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I can only say when man decides for himself what is truth or scripture the results are usually confusion.

The Catholic faith passed down by Jesus and the Apostles has not changed for 2000 years.

Your constant recourse to argumentation by ludicrous refuted assertions as this is a egregious example of how NOT to do apologetics. Instead, what is extensively substantiated evidenced and abundantly shown you is that distinctive Catholic beliefs are NOT passed down by Jesus and the Apostles, nor does she go back 2,000 years, while the claims that she has not doctrinally changed for 2000 years TradCaths themselves disagree with, as regards the "clarifications" by your "living magisterium" by spiritually dead clerics.

However, since your parroting of refuted RC claims remains an argument against being a RC, then continuing can provide further testimony .
