Quietly Erasing the Birth of Christ: Denying the Greatest Event in the History of the World
PatriotandLiberty ^ | 2022 | Gary Bates

I’m not sure if you’ve noticed a quiet revolution taking place in most Western countries. For centuries, our calendar was based around the birth of Christ. The years before His birth were designated as BC (before Christ) and the years after His birth were designated AD (Latin meaning “Anno Domini” for “In the year of the Lord”).

Since we recognize only one G-d, the myth of the birth of another one is meaningless.

The birth of Christ is one of the most attested events in history.

You can chose to ignore/deny Him as the Savior of the world and all that it means but you cannot deny His birth.

I’m happy to report that I visited the Greek and Roman statuary at Met in NYC this summer and that museum uses BC and AD.

The government is creating new holidays to replace Christian days

Christians are well aware of Easter and the mixing of egg hunts and Christ and such, but if they look closely they will notice that government buildings that handle children’s activities do a holiday event that falls on Easter week but is not related to Easter at all, business is doing it also, in time that will become the holiday and Easter will disappear.

Christmas is also being replaced in those same buildings, the kids are fully drenched in a highly decorated festive holiday that matches the Christmas timeline but that has zero to do with Christmas, it is the process of a new holiday being created that will replace Christmas.

Christians are used to business leaving out the Christ part of Christmas and we mostly accept that as business, but visit those city and county buildings used for children’s events and you will see much more than that, you will see a completely new holiday being created for future generations.

“You mean like during the dark ages?“

Yep!

The Church was the Church the whole time. The Church wasn’t just massive cathedrals and fat monks. The Church figured into the daily lives of the people tremendously. The Church educated their priests. It invented the scientific method as a means of uncovering the secrets of God. The Church collected thiths and built universities and put even peasants from their orphanages into them if they showed promise. The Church built hospitals and ministered to all including non Catholics . The Church tended graveyards for anyone who couldn’t afford a grave. Very importantly The Church had a huge number of Feast days (some one hundred fifty?)that allowed the people to cease labor and enjoy life.

It’s AD for a reason. The people who prospered under its veil walked on the moon. There were no Egyptian footprints found there. No Greek, no Roman, no nothing. And if you think all those civilizations were stupid just read the writings they left behind. They were probably collectively smarter than we are today.

They didn’t have Jesus Christ.

it’s not His birth which is the greatest event in history, it is His resurrection and victory over eternal death which is the greatest event in history.

Maranatha!

...that is all

When I see Xmas, I say the X represents the cross :)

To me it isn't so much the visible, it is when I hear in a TV show someone wishing someone a "Merry X Mas". The writers could have put in Merry Christmas ( how often in you own life have you heard someone wishing you a Merry X mas instead of Merry Christmas ) but they intentionally put in the X. It is like they are purposefully omitting Christ.

Well, here’s the thing: “common era“ can only mean beginning with the birth of Christ. Which means that they are still not able to eliminate Christ from the equation.

Quote
‘I have never met a Muslim or Jewish leader who is offended by the Gregorian calendar’ while leading Imam Ibrahim Mogra said: ‘I don’t believe it causes Muslims offence.’ A spokesman for the Board of Deputies of British Jews said: ‘I don’t think anyone would mind if in mainstream schools they use BC and AD.’”
.....

Some of the very first protesters of Rome might have been offended by the Pope calendar,in principle.
Had they been alive when it came out..

A calendar from the 4th Beast of Daniel, named after an Antichrist.(if the premise of the first protesters were correct about the Vatican/Papacy/Pope)

It would appear Islam and Judaism are content with the Beast and Antichrist’s calendar, especially false goddess frigg day and false god saturn day..

Without the Beast and Antichrist, they wouldn’t know what day to worship or what days to work.

Pointing that out to them might offend them.
Probably the same if one tried to point that out to a protester of Rome today..

BCE: “Before The Christian Era” and CE: “The Christian Era”.

I see no problem.

Someone decided to designate BC and AD originally but even that isn’t in scriptures.🤔

For years many couldn’t figure out what AD stood for.☹️

Oh, Christmas is about the birth of Christ?

I thought it was about Santa-claus and holiday trees.

The most blatant is referring to Christmas as Xmas

The symbols Chi (X) and Rho (P) are intertwined and translate as Christ.
