Dear Father Tobin. EVERY person in a position of power and/or authority is a potential threat to the God given right of human beings to self-determine. Even Popes have been guilty of this type of abuse of power. Weapons are necessary to protect us against abuse of power, and to thus preserve our control of our own lives.
