I’ve read an essay presenting that view. Made a lot of sense. God is so deep that He often packs multiple meanings into His messages.

Wow, #5, what a fantastical piece!

...and #26's "in memoriam" ... to a young man in his mid 20's. Yeah...I'm guessing a casualty of WW1. Most of the Gelman museum's works were from the 1800's, and to folks who lived and died in the time of the Civil War.

It really grabs me with its immediacy ...its realness - a more heart-grabbing way of saying "it really happened"!

I’ve been busy writing my Revelation Devotional. It gives you a Revelation verse every day for a year. I add provocative questions to get you thinking, a comment about the verse, and space for your thoughts and notes.

But now that you’re in Revelation (the book I’ve studied the most) I’ll have to look at these threads and maybe add pictures.

Yes. I've heard that and believe that. But God can also use to mean these attitudes are present in all churches in all ages. And of course, that means they were also present in the first-century Church in Asia Minor.

The key phrase for this view is "he that has an ear, let him hear." This is repeated seven times, to every church. Therefore, every message is for every church.
