there’s no “winning” or “losing” - there are facts that the pre-tribulation rapture emerged only in the early 1800s - the same time and place as Mormonism, Seventh Day Adventism Jehovah’s witnesses and Christian scientists.
And for the same reasons - a new land with people expanding westwards and merging of ideas and preachers like Darby looking for ways to increase their paying customers (think Kenneth Copeland or Dollar Creslo)
My bible doesn't say that salvation is found in the proper discernment of the book of Revelation; it is found in Him, Jesus Christ. Religions that deny His deity and His sacrifice as the source of salvation are false.
I also seems to me that the time frame argument is rather silly. Was Luther's opposition to indulgences incorrect based on when he objected? Kenneth Copeland and Creflo Dollar turn my stomach. OTOH, I love the teachings of both David Jeremiah and R.C. Sproul.
It seems to me that arguing over non-central issues as if they were central is the reason for the angels on a pin question.
