——>I have no idea why folks keep saying there is a ‘secret rapture’.
Because that’s how the likes of John Darby described it, that’s why.
——>Scripture clearly teaches that there is a literal Millennial Kingdom reign for 1000 years.
Not on earth.

Darby didn’t write Scripture.
But you keep quoting him as if he’s gospel.
Just like some illiterate hillbilly who had a vision in the early 1800’s that you base your religious views on.
It the Bible says so, then it is so. Everything else is nonsense.
Nobody with any sense should take SDA views seriously.
🙄
That scenario has been written about and it’s entirely plausible IMHO.
2 Thessolonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Rev. 20 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended.
Should we take the Bible seriously?
That describes the destruction of the AC.
The story continues after that for 1000 years of bliss.
SDA’s don’t take it seriously making a mockery of the cross, prophecy, and The Lord’s promises.
#3 Satan will be here with nobody to tempt for a thousand years. Then, in post #47, you say (correctly):
If Satan is "bound for a thousand years," and thrown into the Abyss, who--exactly--will he be tempting?
——>But you keep quoting him as if he’s gospel.
He’s one of the main characters that perpetuated that false PTR doctrine, which originated from the Jesuits.
“#1 Never does the Bible call it the rapture. It does state it will be sudden and worldwide.
#2 The others will be killed at the brightness of His coming. So the only ones left in the world will be Satan and his host of demons.
#3 Satan will be here with nobody to tempt for a thousand years. A thousand years to contemplate his judgment. In this thousand years of desolation, he will be bound (by circumstance not physical chains).”
Not exactly. To gain perspective on the end time events we must look at all the previous tests or dispensations that mankind has failed at.
1-the Age of Innocence: whereby man failed in the Garden.
2-the age of Conscience: whereby man failed to show himself able to live justly by following his perception of right and wrong.
3-the age of government: following the flood of Noah, mankind became aware that he could be governed by human government, yet fails to this day to be restrained by any of the various forms of it.
4-the age of Promise: Beginning with Abraham and culminating into the Nation of Israel, mankind for the most part showed that he still at heart is not in tune with his God.
5-the age of the Law: Mankind, given the the Law of Moses as a guide, mankind and Israel demonstrate that they were still unable to be restrained from evil doing and thinking.
6-the age of Grace: Jesus did for mankind that which mankind could never do himself, on the Cross. Mankind still demonstrates his rejection of God by his rejection and perversion of Jesus Christ to this day.
7-will be the age of the 1000 year Kingdom of Christ on this earth. The devil, being locked away and unable to influence mankind for 1000 years will only still demonstrate that mankind, even without the influence of evil and death upon him, will still be unable to live in harmony with his Creator and at the end of that 1000 years the devil will be loosed and will join with all of those God hating persons that exist at that time in the final struggle of good vs evil.
THEN the end, which ushers in the NEW heavens and the NEW earth, to begin an eternity with God for those whose hearts were and are with Him.
The point of all these dispensations being that God will have demonstrated that He has given mankind EVERY opportunity, and the man has not only squandered every opportunity, but has shown even in the end that without the influence of evil on mankind, mankind is still fully capable of hating God and the things of God on his own accord.
All bad news, countered ONLY by the Gospel message and saving Grace of God Himself.
Simply untrue. I don’t see how they do. I am not here to defend any denomination but to discuss any Biblical views in an intelligent manner. Your tone is uncivil.
You’re the one who refuses to answer simple questions that clearly contradict the false PTR theory. LOL!
Your question makes no sense. He will be tempting nobody. The evil ones were killed (by the brightness of His coming) and Satan is on this earth with his minions with nothing to do but contemplate their fate.
What nations? You just claimed that everyone will be dead. That means no more nations.
Death keeps one from temptation does it not?
What nations?
I’m sorry you don’t like the answer.
