‘Bless be the Lord who shields us from what is to come’……I think it is a Jewish prayer
Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
I am sure there were lots of prayers to God as they were led to the gas chambers. One German official when looking into a gas chamber heard them crying out and he said "It sounds like a synagogue in there"
