Why do groups who hate God’s law, the SDA church, and especially Ellen G. White, purposely lie about what EGW said or did? Here’s an example of their lies:

“The man Christ Jesus was not the Lord God Almighty.” -Ellen G. White (1903, ms 150, SDA Commentary V, p. 1129)

When in fact her full statement was this:

Equal with the Father, honored and adored by the angels, in our behalf Christ humbled Himself, and came to this earth to live a life of lowliness and poverty—to be a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. Yet the stamp of divinity was upon His humanity. . . .

There is no one who can explain the mystery of the incarnation of Christ. Yet we know that He came to this earth and lived as a man among men. The man Christ Jesus was not the Lord God Almighty, yet Christ and the Father are one.—Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary, vol. 5, p. 1129, bold added.

Why do these groups continually lie and bear false witness against EGW? Do they not understand that willful, unrepentant liars will not enter heaven?

Hello again, Philsworld!

Glancing through this thread again, I can see that many of the posters in the thread seem to think that SDA's, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Mormons share many quite similar or overlapping beliefs, particularly regarding the Trinity, Jesus, and other paramaount doctrines.   However, in my very limited grasp of those three denominations, it is my understanding that their beliefs in those key areas are nothing alike -- they are all completely different from each other regarding those primary teachings.

As you are a knowledgable insider in one of those denominations, I would be interested in hearing your opinion on that.

(For anyone else here who may be interested in honestly looking into that question, below are some good places to start, to analyze the teachings in those and other areas for those three denominations, from within the organizations themselves.)

The full quote does nothing to change the intent, or even the basic meaning, of the initial quote.

She still denied Christ a being God.
