You don't know how to read.

YOU quoted the 1 Corinthians in post #504:

"2 Corinthians 11 14And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light. 15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers be transformed as the ministers of justice, whose end shall be according to their works."

This doesn't apply to the Divine Mercy Chaplet. It was Jesus Himself being depicted, not an angel. Therefore your verse doesn't apply, since it doesn't say Satan transforms himself into Jesus, only into an angel.

And your post 485 quoted "so that you do not act corruptly and make a graven image for yourselves in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female," which is from Deuteronomy 4:16.

But you know, the sentences IMMEDIATELY BEFORE that, in the same paragraph, if they called them paragraphs back then, said:

"13He declared to you His covenant, which He commanded you to follow— the Ten Commandments that He wrote on two tablets of stone. 14At that time the LORD commanded me to teach you the statutes and ordinances you are to follow in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess.14 At that time the LORD commanded me to teach you the statutes and ordinances you are to follow in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess.15So since you saw no form of any kind on the day the LORD spoke to you out of the fire at Horeb, be careful 16that you do not act corruptly and make an idol for yourselves of any form or shape, whether in the likeness of a male or female,17 of any beast that is on the earth or bird that flies in the air, 18or of any creature that crawls on the ground or fish that is in the waters below"

It comes RIGHT OUT AND SAYS IT -- "13He declared to you His covenant, which He commanded you to follow— the Ten Commandments that He wrote on two tablets of stone. "

THAT IS THE OLD TESTAMENT, THE OLD COVENANT, BASED ON THE MOSAIC LAW. IT SAYS NOT TO MAKE IDOLS.

A painting of Jesus Himself, captioned, "Jesus I Trust in You" is not an Idol.

Here are the beginning and closing prayers of the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

O Jesus, eternal Truth, our Life, I call upon You and I beg Your mercy for poor sinners. O sweetest Heart of my Lord, full of pity and unfathomable mercy, I plead with You for poor sinners. O Most Sacred Heart, Fount of Mercy from which gush forth rays of inconceivable graces upon the entire human race, I beg of You light for poor sinners. O Jesus, be mindful of Your own bitter Passion and do not permit the loss of souls redeemed at so dear a price of Your most precious Blood. O Jesus, when I consider the great price of Your Blood, I rejoice at its immensity, for one drop alone would have been enough for the salvation of all sinners. Although sin is an abyss of wickedness and ingratitude, the price paid for us can never be equalled. Therefore, let every soul trust in the Passion of the Lord, and place its hope in His mercy. God will not deny His mercy to anyone. Heaven and earth may change, but God's mercy will never be exhausted. Oh, what immense joy burns in my heart when I contemplate Your incomprehensible goodness, O Jesus! I desire to bring all sinners to Your feet that they may glorify Your mercy throughout endless ages

and the closing prayer:

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

O Greatly Merciful God, Infinite Goodness, today all mankind calls out from the abyss of its misery to Your mercy — to Your compassion, O God; and it is with its mighty voice of misery that it cries out. Gracious God, do not reject the prayer of this earth's exiles! O Lord, Goodness beyond our understanding, Who are acquainted with our misery through and through, and know that by our own power we cannot ascend to You, we implore You: anticipate us with Your grace and keep on increasing Your mercy in us, that we may faithfully do Your holy will all through our life and at death's hour. Let the omnipotence of Your mercy shield us from the darts of our salvation’s enemies, that we may with confidence, as Your children, await Your [Son’s] final coming — that day known to You alone. And we expect to obtain everything promised us by Jesus in spite of all our wretchedness. For Jesus is our Hope: through His merciful Heart, as through an open gate, we pass through to heaven

“angel of light.”

Every time I debate you romans I see more and more why you are romans, your ignorance of the Scriptures is just amazing.

Revelation 19:10, John the beloved apostle fell at the angel’s feet, so if John the very one that leaned on our Lord Jesus fell for it then a roman pagan nun would not have a chance.

The rest of your writing is all roman gibberish, sounds good, but without Romans 10:9-10 your still hell bound.
“A painting of Jesus Himself, captioned, “Jesus I Trust in You” is not an Idol.”
It is NOT a painting of our Lord Jesus, there is absolutely no picture of Jesus Christ in existence.

“THAT IS THE OLD TESTAMENT, THE OLD COVENANT, BASED ON THE MOSAIC LAW. IT SAYS NOT TO MAKE IDOLS.”

So, you are saying that the Ten Commandments are still not relevant?

Ok hero here is your chance, why did YOUR cult remove the second Commandment, but keep the rest???
