AT THE INN |
Concierge: Do you have reservations?
Joseph: Yes, but we came anyway!
>rimshot!<.......................
Fantastic.
Thank you, and may God bless you and yours, Dan.
Keep your day job, Red.
Thank you, Claire, and back at you.
#26
knocks it out of the park
though they are rejected as lodgers, all the yellow and gold in the composition warm my heart and signal the Glory and the Love that is about to come
#15 the interior of the inn
is a hoot
with all the chaos and commotion, it is fitting that God arranged that His Son be born among the sheep, in a pastoral setting
Excellent point. God arranged a private setting just for Joseph and Mary, in order to bless them.
Ever after, the uniqueness of the setting resonated in their memories to match the uniqueness of the blessed event.
Good Morning, Dan. :-)
♫It's beginning to look ♫ a lot like Christmas♫
Iconic scenario. Everyone had to go back the family home base, so
It's like what Ellen Griswold said:
"Well I don't know what to say, except it's Christmas, and we're all in misery."
So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David.
The story was that David had to run back to Bethlehem his city, for there was a yearly sacrifice there for all the family.
Totally believable!
Great paintings!Favorites are 1, 2, 8, 13, 25, 26. Thank you, Dan!
Jonathan, such a kidder....
Here you are, Madam. Will there be anything else?
Thank you! Excellent!!!!
Good Morning Dan, and joyful day to all.
So many fine choices; many show the great fatigue of Mary.
Love the style in #13 Anderson. Also #25 Copping; the late hour, the dark street, but mostly the crowd from the inn, all looking out. Would love to hear etabeta’s analysis on this one.
Thank you Dan =:^)
As far as I know, she's not omniscient.
Maybe not Omniscient, but Muchoniscient
