It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Frankie is trying to stack the deck with voting cardinals of his choice. But all of the growth and energy in the Church is coming from TLM Catholics.
So I remain hopeful that the next Pope will be orthodox.

No doubt they will try. But the facts remain as follows: younger clergy are much more traditional than the generation passing away. The Church is a gigantic organization and any attempts by the "queer" birds at the Vatican to exercise dictatorial control will ultimately fail from sheer lack of will and manpower.
Plus, do not discount the notion that the best laid plans of evildoers always, always, always come to naught, particularly as regards Holy Mother Church.
