Your own religion says that your sins committed this night will send you into the eternal fire, unless you repent.

It always amuses me when non-catholics tell me what my "religion says".

Guess what? My religion says there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church.

If you really believe that, Ebb, why are you so nasty to non Catholics? Do you want non Catholics to go to hell? You don't turn a finger to offer your Catholicism religion to whom you deem damned because they are not Catholics.

Ebb, Jesus took on flesh and welt among us as a JEW. Not a Catholic or a Protestant, a Jew. His Spirit began a body of believers church on the day of Pentecost. That first three or four thousand were not Catholics. The APostles were not Catholics. Paul was definitely not a Catholic. D you see a disconnect here?

It always saddens me to hear the Catholic religion say that obeying what an apparition tells them is ok to do - or not.

A Marian apparition, if deemed genuine by Church authority, is treated as private revelation that may emphasize some facet of the received public revelation for a specific purpose, but it can never add anything new to the deposit of faith. The Church will confirm an apparition as worthy of belief, but belief is never required by divine faith.

In some apparitions such as Our Lady of Lourdes or Our Lady of Fatima an actual vision is reported,
fully resembling that of a person being present.

In some of these reports the viewers (at times children) do not initially report that they saw the Virgin Mary,
but that they saw "a Lady" (often but not always dressed in white) and had a conversation with her.

In these cases the viewers report experiences that resemble the visual and verbal interaction
with a person present at the site of the apparition.

Guess what? Your 'education' is NOT complete.

The following quotations from the Church Fathers give the straight story. They show that the early Church held the same position on this as the contemporary Church does—that is, whereas it is normatively necessary to be a Catholic to be saved (see CCC 846; Vatican II, Lumen Gentium 14), it is possible in some circumstances for people to be saved who have not been fully initiated into the Catholic Church (CCC 847).

Notice that the same Fathers who declare the normative necessity of being Catholic also declare the possibility of salvation for some who are not Catholics.
