Jesus was never a piece of furit hanging on a fruit tree for people just to pick off. that’s just sick....

Fruit? I didn’t say Jesus was a pc of Fruit – who in the history of the world has ever said Jesus was a piece of Fruit?
That’s just ignorance on your part.
So when you talk of the fruits of the Holy Spirit that indwells in you – do you mean to say then you are producing bananas and mangos?
You know better.

Bread. Jesus said HE was BREAD ! The Bread of Life-

“Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven; my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven, and gives life to the world.”
34 They said to him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”
35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to me shall not hunger
41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.”
48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.
50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat of it and not die.
51 I am the LIVING bread[c] which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.”
58 This is the bread which came down from heaven, not such as the fathers ate and died;
he who eats this bread will live for ever.”

C’mon man, think here. You’re supposed to be the symbolism guy...
Tree symbolism is huuge in the divinely inspired Word of God. Don’t you know your Bible?? Don’t you know how important the Tree is – do you NOT want to be grafted onto the Tree of Life?

Acts 5:30
The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you had put to death by hanging Him on a Tree..

Rev 22:14
14 Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

I guess your just fulfilling your need of "RC" obstinacy – but symbolic or literal- if you cannot see the Christ connection from Genesis to Revelation-
you ain’t getting’ it.

More importantly He’s risen - He’s not dead - He’s alive. So why keep envisioning him hanging anywhere when He lives....

Do you want to forget Christ was murdered for Us? Because of our sinfulness?
That its somehow unpleasant, that when we look upon the Crucifixion (or Crucifix) the the Beauty of his Sacrifice on the Cross should be overlooked?

No way. You want a rainbows and sunshine Christianity- good- go for it. Christ was sent into this world- all they way down to the putrid depth of our human sinfulness- and bore all of that sin on that Cross- to die for us.
So we should look upon Christ on that Cross everyday- and it does not mean he is not Living. Anybody who thinks to focus on the Crucifixion means Christ is not alive is deluded. Christ wants us to consciously look upon our sin- and understand the price that it is, and has been paid -when we sin through our faults.
Maybe, if we look at our sinfulness more often, and constantly be reminded of what Jesus has done for us- maybe it allows for a grace in us -
to fight the next occasion of sin that tempts us.
Just as God made the Israelites look at their sinfulness in the serpent – as Moses raised it up in the desert- so that they may live, even though they rejected God in the desert- so was the Son of Man sent to be raised up on a tree – to take away the sins of the world for us- that we may also live.

And what was part of the Israelites rejection? The Manna God sent from Heaven -
but they rejected it and died. Though it was so important to God, that God told Moses to keep the Manna in the Ark of the Covenant.
Though you’re probably not ready for that part just yet.

Actually it’s not what I want - it’s what He desires. And it isn’t the depictions you’re trying to sell.

Rather.......

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.”.....Romans 8:1,2

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God”...Ephesians 2:8

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5;17

In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. Ephesians 2:12

He is the mediator of a ‘new covenant’, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the ‘first covenant’ ...Hebrews9:15.
